Overview

One of the most popular tourist attractions in Cusco is Humantay Lake. The elevation of the lake is 4,200 m. You will start earlier than all the big tourist groups, so you’ll be one of the first people on the mountain to experience this spectacular panorama almost to yourself when you take our Humantay Lake trip. It is lovely to spend around an hour at the lake taking in the serene ambient and the blue glacial lake with snow-capped mountains in the background.

 

  • 4:30 pick-up from your hotel
  • 6:00 arrive at the restaurant for breakfast – up 1 hour for the breakfast
  • 8:00 arrive at the start hiking point. The hike will take around 2 hours
  • 10:00 arrive at Lake Humantay, where you will spend around 1 hour
  • 11:00 you will start your hiking back downhill, where the car will wait for you
  • 12:30 arrive at the restaurant for lunch, where you will spend around 1 hour
  • 14:00 you will start your drive back to Cusco to your hotel
  • 16:30 arrive at your hotel
