Overview

This thrilling adventure tour begins about one hour away from Cusco City. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in the center of Cusco and bring you back after the tour. In case of a group tour, the starting point is Main Square of Cusco.

We offer the route where you will have time to visit the archaeological site of Moray, the Salt Mines, the small village of Maras, the lakes along the route, and the textile center of Chinchero. You don’t need a lot of riding experience to participate in this magnificent activity because all of our quads are automatics or semi-automatics.

The tour allows you to appreciate the nice views and to be in touch with nature, local people, agricultural lands, and high mountains with snow peaks.

Our Half Day Tour Maras Moray on Quad bikes – is one of the top adventurous things to do in Cusco on a free day.

When you arrive at our base you will receive brief safety and quadricycle instruction. After practicing for ten minutes, we will begin the tour. You will ride off-road for roughly one and a half to two hours.

In case of a private service, we can start our tour at 8-9 am, so you don’t need to wake up early and have breakfast at your hotel.

In case of group service, the meeting point is the Main Square of Cusco (Plaza de Armas) at 8:00 am.

  • From the starting point, you will take a 45 min drive to our base of Quad Bikes out of Cusco
  • Our group leader will bring you to lake Huaypo, where you will enjoy the incredible views
  • After that, you will have a ride to the Salinas of Maras (Salt Mines), there are around 4000 pools
  • Of course, you will visit the agriculture laboratory of the Incas – Moray
  • After all this, you will go back to the Quad Bike base from where we will take you back to Cusco
